WELCOME

CALL TO WORSHIP
One: This is the day the Lord has made:
Many: a day for praise and prayer; a day for gratitude and generosity.
One: This is the time God has given us:
Many: a time for singing and silence; a time for speaking and listening.
One: This is the life to which God calls us:
Many: a life of humility and service; a life of faith and trust.

OPENING PRAYER

*GLORIA PATRI
Glory be to the Creator, and to the Christ and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning is now, and ever
shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

SILENCE

OFFERTORY

*DOXOLOGY
Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise God, all creatures here below; Praise God for all that love has done; Creator, Christ, and Spirit, One. Amen.

*PRAYER OF DEDICATION
If our lives, our love, our gifts are not shared with others, the words we offer in prayer and praise are hollow. So receive what we offer, Holy God, and bless them in the work of that kingdom which values the people we cannot understand, lifts up those we have avoided, and brings hope and healing to all. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

*HYMN 509 (Songs of Spirit) What Does the Lord Require for Praise

JOYS & CONCERNS

MORNING PRAYER & THE LORDS PRAYER
Our God, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
