One: We wait upon the Eternal our God.

One: A song of praise is fitting!
Many: Let us worship God together.

*Gloria Patri   #36
Glory be to the Creator, and to the Christ and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the
beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen. Amen.

*Hymn: #94 (Songs of Spirit) If You Will Trust in God to Guide You

Prayer of Confession
Holy One, we hope in your steadfast love, bringing our broken hearts and our wounded
spirits. Make us aware of the hearts we break, the spirits we wound, of those we treat as outcasts, of those we tread down. Renew us in your grace, renew us in your strength. Amen

Offertory

*Doxology
Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise God, all creatures here below;
Praise God for all that love has done; Creator, Christ, and Spirit, One. Amen.

*Unison Prayer of Dedication
Holy One, we bring our gifts and pray that they may be for the building up and lifting up of your people, for the binding of wounds and the healing of hearts, for shelter and for covering and clothing for those in need. With these gifts we offer our songs of praise as we hope in your steadfast love. Amen.

Communion (see insert)

*Hymn: #318 (Songs of Spirit) Draw Us in the Spirit’s Tether

Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever.

*Hymn: #469 (Songs of Spirit) A Mighty Fortress Is Our God

*Benediction

*Musical Benediction #334 (Songs of Spirit), Savior, Again to Thy Dear Name, verse 2
Grant us thy peace upon our homeward way;
With thee began, with thee shall end the day;
Guard thou the lips from sin, the hearts from shame,
that in this house have called upon thy name.

Postlude: solo organ, Hal
