Call to Worship
One: Do not be afraid to answer the call to discipleship.
Many: What does the call require?

soul with God’s.
Many: We step out in the way of Jesus by losing our life to save it.
One: Do not be afraid to walk in the way of Jesus.
Many: We answer the call, unashamed and unafraid. Amen.

*Hymn: #493 (New Century Hymnal) O Jesus, I Have Promised
Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever.

*Hymn: #198 (New Century Hymnal) Lift High the Cross

*Benediction

*Musical Benediction #334 (Songs of Spirit), Savior, Again to Thy Dear Name, verse 2
Grant us thy peace upon our homeward way;
With thee began, with thee shall end the day;
Guard thou the lips from sin, the hearts from shame,
that in this house have called upon thy name.
