Welcome & Announcements

Call to Worship

One: Jesus is with you while you walk from Jerusalem to Emmaus,
All: Jesus is with us while we walk from East Hardwick to Greensboro.

One: We journey with Jesus on the road.
All: Jesus travels with us on Breezy Avenue .

One: And yet we could not recognize Jesus
All: until we broke bread together, until we shared some pancakes and maple syrup .

One: At once, our eyes were opened and we say:
All: Oh! Our hearts were burning for that familiar voice!

One: Christ is risen!
All: Christ is risen, indeed!

One: Praise God!
All: Alleluia!

Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
