On June 10, beginning at 5 pm, we will be serving a meal that will feature flavors from Afghanistan and Ukraine. Donations will be accepted to help the Vermont office of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants in their work with Afghan refugees and the Hungarian Interchurch Aid in their work with Ukrainian refugees. Enjoy a good meal and help those in great need at the same time. We will start at 5 pm and hand out meals until they are gone. We are preparing 120 meals. We need volunteers on June 8 from 6 to 9 pm to prep for cooking on Friday. On Friday we need Volunteers to help with cooking from 11 til it is ready. Then we will need more Volunteers at 3 pm to help clean the kitchen, get set up to serve the meal, and serve the meal. The sign up sheet is in the front pew.
