“A Day Late and a Dollar Short: Believing When All Seems Lost.”

Our guest preacher on Sunday, July 1st is Amy McLaughlin-Sheasby, who is currently working on her Ph.D. in Practical Theology at Boston University. Amy  received her B.A. in Ministry and Theology from Lipscomb University and her M.Div from Abilene Christian University. Her work largely focuses on the theology of preaching, wisdom literature of the Bible, and the impact of suffering and trauma on theology. Amy has joyfully welcomed opportunities to preach at churches and conferences around the country, and was delighted to hold the position of pulpit minister for Wisteria Place Chapel in Abilene, Texas while working on her M.Div. Amy and her husband, Nathan, currently live in Boston where Nathan works as an accomplished chef.

Note: Communion will be celebrated on July 8th rather than July 1st.
